Students Connect started as a group of students struggling to stay connected online during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Though we have turned to in-person activities with the start of the 2021-22 school year, our journey has highlighted an important issue exacerbated by the pandemic: social isolation. Without direct communication for over a year, students have felt lonely, confused, and stressed; but, who’s to say that these feelings weren’t there before?
